A grassroots event is happening in Irvine, California this Friday to DROP Nancy Pelosi.

Representatives of DropPelosi.com will be there to support the rally!  Below are the details taken from THIS facebook page.

Nancy Pelosi arrives in Orange County for a Henry S. Truman awards dinner on December 4th at 6 pm at the Hilton on MacArthur Blvd, directly across from John Wayne Airport in Newport Beach.

I would like to invite you all, and please invite your friends that would be interested, in a good old fashioned sidewalk protest of Madame Speaker.

She has called us Tea Party Patriots/Conservatives/ and anyone that doesn’t believe in her liberal ideology as “astroturf, nazis, and un-american.” You can show up in your Brooks Brothers, ala Babs Boxer, but I plan on showing up in sneakers and some fleece. It’s gonna be chilly as it gets dark around 5.

We do have a person that has bought a ticket for this awards dinner so we will have a “heads-up” if the venue gets moved to another location.

The link says that the protest starts at 5, but I will be there at 4pm as we will still have daylight. I will be outside from 4pm-6pm, so you can come anytime in that window. I am sure that folks will be there well past 7pm. We will line up on Douglas and MacArthur and surround the hotel entrances. We cannot block the entrances, but we do have a right to peacefully protest on the sidewalk surrounding the property.

Over 30 Tea Party Patriot organizers have been contacted in this area. Also, an additional 100 pp from San Diego are confirmed through another grassroots organization.

I anticipate anywhere from 500-1000 pp to show. Bring your bullhorns and bring your signs. Nancy needs to know that the American People do not agree with her policies such as Universal Healthcare and Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants, or Stimulus 1 (and God Forbid, Stimulus 2).

Remember, it was Nancy that promised “Pay/Go” and also said: Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package, 500 million Americans lose their jobs.

I hope to see you on Friday. She deserves it.
